A handmade newborn baby hat, for the first few hours

This baby hat is one of the first things placed on a newborn's head. So it might as well be soft, beautiful, and thoughtfully designed.

Made from 100% Oeko-Tex certified pointelle cotton, this newborn baby hat is airy and breathable. Its delicate openwork gives it a light texture that naturally regulates heat without ever suffocating. It doesn't constrict, doesn't scratch, and respects the most fragile skin from the first hours of life.

Its soft and timeless sage green color pairs with everything and suits both girls and boys. Its delicate knot on top adds a poetic and elegant touch, without being cumbersome. A hand-sewn detail that makes all the difference in newborn photos.

Each hat is hand-sewn in my workshop in Saint-Maur-des-Fossés, in small batches, with fabrics carefully selected for their softness and safety. It naturally matches Maison Piou Piou's pajamas and newborn outfits, and easily slips into the maternity bag or a newborn gift set.
