A handmade baby bath cape, for first baths and the years to come

This bath cape was designed to envelop your baby in complete softness, from the first seconds out of the water.

Its 73x73 cm size fully envelops baby, from birth up to around 18 months. The integrated hood protects the delicate head and ears, retains warmth, and transforms every bath time into a cuddly and reassuring moment.

What makes the difference is the choice of materials. On the visible side, an Oeko-Tex certified 100% cotton gauze, custom printed for Maison Piou Piou and designed by an illustrator. On the skin side, extra soft bamboo terry cloth, ultra-absorbent and silky, which gently dries baby without rubbing their delicate skin.

Each cape is hand-sewn in my workshop in Saint-Maur-des-Fossés, in small batches, with fabrics carefully selected for their softness and safety. An accessory that lasts over time, wash after wash, and often becomes a ritual object in the evening routine.
