Baby and child neck warmer in jersey and sherpa

This neck warmer, also called a snood, was designed for babies from 6 months old and children up to primary school. Easy to put on, it replaces the scarf, which is often prohibited in daycare and at school, while keeping the neck warm during stroller rides, at daycare, or in the playground.

Its flexible design combines Oeko-Tex certified stretchy jersey and a soft Oeko-Tex certified sherpa lining: babies and children remain protected from the cold without being constricted or hindered in their movements. They can play, run, and move freely.

Two sizes to accompany each stage:

Baby Size (6 months to 2.5 years): fitted cut to wrap around the necks of the littlest ones without slipping, ideal for stroller rides and first walks.

Child Size (from 3 years): a little wider, to be put on easily even when the child is impatient, perfect for school, daycare, or the park.

Each snood is hand-sewn in my workshop in Saint-Maur-des-Fossés, in small batches, with Oeko-Tex certified fabrics carefully selected for their softness and safety on children's sensitive skin. Its poetic and exclusive patterns also make it an original and artisanal birth gift or child's gift.

The baby sizeneck warmer measures approximately 11 cm in heightand 22 cm in widthwhen laid flat. It is perfectly suitable for children up to 2 / 2.5 years old, with a head circumference of about 49 cm.

The child sizemeasures approximately 18 cm in heightand 27 cm in widthwhen laid flat. It is ideal from 2 / 3 years oldand can even be worn by a teenager or an adult thanks to its stretchy jersey fabric.

From what age can a baby wear a snood?

A baby neck warmer can be used as soon as your child starts to sit up or is placed in a stroller outside of the bassinet.

At this stage, their neck is more developed, and they need a soft and safe accessory to keep them warm during outings.

For most babies, this is around 6 months, sometimes a little later depending on their development.

The baby size (6 months to 2.5 years) is designed for the youngest, and the child size (3+ years) is suitable for older children.

How to choose the right size?

Baby size (6 months – 2 years): a more fitted cut to protect the neck without restricting movement.
Child size (3 years +): a little wider, for easy donning and accompanying outings to school or walks.

Both sizes are soft and stretchy, thanks to the combination of Oeko-Tex jersey and sherpa.
